David Kam is a London-based movement artist, lecturer and yoga teacher sharing embodied practices of connection from the lens of joy, wonder and freedom. Blending the worlds of architecture, dance and spirituality, David pitches movement as an expression of party and protest to offer a space for others to find home in their bodies and to explore ways of moving together towards collective action and trans-generational healing.

In practice, David will guide you through fluid, multidimensional sequences using traditional yoga postures (asana) as points of departure to condition towards complexity and mobilise towards longevity. Classes always begin with a somatic enquiry and feature opportunities to move, roll, crawl or invert beyond the confines of your mat. 

Beyond the mat, David is the founder of kindredpacket, a grassroots movement uplifting East and South East Asian (ESEA) communities through culturally sensitive practices of wellbeing. He is also a core member of the Britain’s East and South East Asian Network (besea.n), the organisation who initiated ESEA Heritage Month in the UK.
